Compact Li-ION battery-powered Nissan forklift
          concept presented at CeMAT 2008

  

World's first Li-ION powered forklift concept model by Nissan debuted at
the
CeMAT 2008 logistics exhibition, held at Hannover from May 27 -31.

 

            

 

The electric-powered forklift employs advanced Li-ION battery technology deve-
loped
by Automotive Energy Supply Corporation (AESC), a joint-venture between
Nissan Motor Co. and NEC Corporation and NEC TOKIN Corporation.  This techno-
logy was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the Nissan concept car "Mixim".
The technology is also featured in the PIVO 2 concept car.

          Launch of brand new Nissan GX Series

               Operator at heart, Owner in mind

As part of a series of major new product launches this year, Nissan Forklift introdu-
ced the all-new IC engine powered GX Series for heavy loads at the CeMAT exhibi-
tion in Hannover, Germany.

 

Developed for all of its global markets, Nissan's GX Series will be available in Europe,
Japan and USA. Production for the European market will commence in August 2008.

           Introduction of all new Nissan TX4 Series

                                at CeMAT 2008

In a series of new product launches the new TX4 Series was introduced by Nissan
Forklift during the latest CeMAt exhibition in Hannover, Germany. This new model is
a full derivative of the very successful TX Series. three-wheel.

The design of the truck is based on a maximum commonality concept. This allows
customers to combine easilty the three-wheel TX Series and the new TX4 Series
in a single fleet operation. These Nissan Forklift models offer the highest possible
degree of commonality in, onboard systems, operator platforms, masts and parts.
